A New Chapter Begins

When I founded Celtic Careers 1999, Ireland was entering a new chapter. New industries and growth, where quality talent would become the driving force for success. I wanted to build a company that could serve the emerging needs of new businesses and bridge the gap with existing local enterprises. And most importantly, to support people in developing careers that would shape their futures.

Nearly 27 years later and that vision has grown into something truly special. We’ve weathered every economic season as a team, celebrating the highs, supporting one another through challenges, and evolving alongside the businesses and professionals we’ve had the privilege to partner with. From our humble beginnings in Lucan village, Celtic Careers has grown to be a respected national recruitment partner.

My journey with this business has been extraordinary. And now marks the beginning of another new chapter for me.
 
A guiding principle of this company was to build something that would endure beyond its founder. To ensure it not only continues, but can grow, innovate, and thrive with the same values that have defined us since day one. Fortunately, I am surrounded by one of the best teams in the business - a team that has consistently delivered the best service to our clients and candidates.

Continuity, Leadership and Our Next Chapter
It is with absolute confidence that I announce the next stage of our leadership journey. As 2025 draws to a close, I am officially handing over the reins to the next generation. Declan Moore is stepping into the role of Managing Director.

Declan has been strategically prepared for this succession over the past two years and has been deeply involved in setting our future direction. He is perfectly positioned to lead our organisation into its next phase. By his side, I am confident the wonderful team – Marie Stack, Catherine Hurley, Marie O’Toole, Celine Shadlow, Sara Hickey, and Nessa McGarrigle – will continue to provide the same high standard of excellence.
