Sales and Marketing Assistant
Location – Dublin
Hours of work 9am to 5pm
Salary 30K to 32K plus bonus

Our Client. A leading medical device Company are looking for a dynamic individual who is results orientated and hard working to join their team. They are currently expanding divisions and are now a key distributor for a new innovative product for the dental market. With all the success globally, they are introducing this to the Irish market. As a Sales and Marketing Assistant you will support the sales team and proactively call customers to educate and guide them on the system. You will inform their customers on promotions/events. You will seek feedback and also deal with any issues as they arise
You will need to be a good team player with a positive attitude and be someone who works well on your own initiative
You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment in this Sales and Marketing Assistant role and work for a company that is a market leader in their field.
Previous Sales experience is required for this position and you will need to have the willingness to work at conferences and travel when necessary. IT skills required include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
This is a position you can certainly make your own and the role will evolve as the division becomes more established. A marketing qualification is not a necessity/ You will ideally have a relevant Business Degree and have at least two years’ experience working in a dual role covering Sales and Marketing and where you organised and attended conferences
Develop personal product knowledge by attending product training sessions / conferences
Taking incoming calls from dental practices in Ireland
Assisting the Sales team in increasing the Client base and supporting them in achieving company goals
Manage the customer requests for clinical advice and offer initial support where possible
Advising customers on product requirements
Work closely with the European and UK office regarding marketing for the Irish division and work in partnership with external agencies in relation to marketing material for events, conferences
You will effectively deal with customer queries, complaints such that they are resolved promptly and in a professional manner
Accurately maintain customer database, ensure all systems are accurately updated at all times
Complete key performance reports
Generate reports when required
Knowledge of competitor activity and offers
Any other duties as may be required.
