An Opportunity has come available for an Operations Manager in Dublin 12. You will Report to the Director of Operations. The operations manager drives the execution of the business and motivates team members to achieve the best results and to drive continuous process improvement. This position will lead a team and will require extensive coordination with other on-site operations to ensure a quality Customer service.
•Maintain the highest level of integrity and standards both on an internal and external basis and protect the Company’s reputation by delivering a high quality service that meets customer expectations.
•Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency.
•Createimprove operations key indicators KPI and quality assurance measures by monitoring and reporting performance at established intervals.
•Achieve results by communicating and working across functions and teams.
•Ensure that operational policies, procedures, workflows and reporting formats for product line are established and maintained particularly around stock balancing and the shipment dispatch workflow.
•Serve as a consultant and point of escalation for support issues across the operations.
•Share knowledge and best practices with team, customers, and other groups, including documentation and training.
•Conduct operational training on processes and procedures.
•Create and support development of timely corrective actions to product line issues in operations.
•Improve processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing salesgross profit, and enhancing customer satisfaction
•Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
The skillsexperience required for this role include
•5 years’ experience of working in an environment that exercises tight controls and quality checking
•Evidence of having identified and implemented process improvement using a structured methodology & having achieved the desired result
•Documentation skills process & procedure documents, training documents, report skills
Personal skills required
•Awareness of Process Improvement Techniques, including Six-Sigma and Lean
•Outstanding detail-orientation and organizational skills
•Able to work independently
•Outstanding record of achievement including maintenance of standards and integrity
•Ability to make strong contributions as an individual and team player
•Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and duties in a deadline-driven environment
•Proven leadership abilities preferably in an operationsproduct support or customer support environment
