Our Client who is based in West Dublin is looking for an Ireland Operations Manager to manage and oversee all operations within an expanding business.
You will be working closely with the Branch Manager and Operations Director to ensure all staff are utilized optimally in respect to the daily workload and key customer/business objectives. Organising departmental heads to achieve a common goal and ensuring all operational activities are operating in line with company procedures and policies. Working closely with the warehouse team to develop and push the operation forward whilst maintaining and encouraging efficiency, communication, H&S compliance, performance, and discipline.
Your main responsibilities will be to support and promote our clients working procedures whilst developing the company’s operation towards best practice, organise and plan the daily deployment of staff, ensuring all daily work targets are met in line with business expectations.
You will set staff/departments (goods in, despatch, stock control) objectives, including the review of these objectives in regular appraisals, conduct regular management review meetings in order to promote continuous improvement and monitor, maintain and instil good attendance and discipline levels from all staff, ensuring that company policies are enforced and practiced correctly, acting on non-conformances accordingly.
You will manage the Health and Safety compliance throughout the branch ensuring all operational activities are conforming to Health and Safety guidelines and legislation, identify improvements to operational processes and assist in implementing agreed and approved plans of action, whilst motivating and encouraging staff to support such operational and business improvements.
You will be responsible to ensure excellent stock accuracy is maintained within the warehouse, manage all recruitment within the warehouse including the introduction of an appointed agency for the provision of temporary labour as and when required.
You will undertake any tasks in support of the branch and the company as reasonably required from time to time, ensure high warehouse/branch hygiene standards are targeted, achieved and maintained and to encourage, monitor and promote KPI’s as required across all departments

If you have excellent communication skills at all levels, Previous first line management experience, Excellent computer literacy, experienced in organisational and man management skills, experienced in change management, excellent health and safety knowledge (preferably IOSH qualified), Driving license then we would love to speak to you.
