GDPR Breakfast Seminar | Is Your Business GDPR Ready?
*Please note this event is now fully booked
With the deadline for GDPR looming, we asked our compliance adviser, Sam Glynn from Code In Motion, to help create a clear understanding of what exactly GDPR is, and how our clients can start to comply. Celtic Careers is hosting a GDPR Breakfast Seminar in Citywest Hotel, Dublin 24.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on the 25th of May 2018 and will be replacing the data protection framework which is currently in existence under the EU Data Protection Directive. There will be changes which strengthen the rights of individuals as well as significantly increase the obligations and responsibilities on organisations. Businesses will have to carefully consider how they collect, use and protect personal data. As a recruitment agency, ensuring Celtic Careers is continually GDPR compliant is of paramount importance to us.
