Due to increased business, Our Client a Leading supplier of engineering equipment/tools/accessories have a requirement for a Spare Parts and Service Office Administrator. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role or engineering company and have knowledge of machines and spare parts and in supporting customers and in-house engineers. You must be administratively strong and be well organised. You should have good customer services and interpersonal skills, good IT and typing skills – accuracy and formatting are important. You must be keen to learn and develop further. Opportunity of progression for the right Candidate. May suit someone who has worked previously in a Trade Counter role
Receiving enquiries for spare parts.
Quoting spare parts.
Ordering up and dispatching spare parts (Telesales).
Liaising with suppliers and following up with customers, keeping them informed of delivery status of parts.
Dealing with customers queries, incorrect parts, pricing, missing items etc.
Arranging return to suppliers of not-needed spare parts, also following up with service dept on returns warranty/chargeable parts.
Managing spare parts stock efficiently
Checking spare parts invoices and passing these for payment.
Liaising with our accounts department, so as to ensure efficient handling of invoices and payments, credits etc.
Building on and improving on existing office administration systems so as to ensure good service to our customers
Participating in annual parts inventory.
Service Engineer administration work, including:
Logging customer calls with Service office in Dublin.
Liaising with service office on spare parts so as to ensure efficient operation and support to our customers.
Ensuring appropriate charge out of all service activities, so as to maximise revenue.
Clarifying where needed, warranty work with the Service Manager.
Assist to source spares and identify parts requirements.
